CAREER DEVELOPMENT AND SKILL SERVICE
REVISED BUSINESS REPORT
CLIENT: G21 with Funding through the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and
Local Government's Innovative Regions Centre Program
The CDSS Business Plan was developed on behalf of G21, an alliance of five Councils (Greater Geelong, Surf Coast, Colac Otway, Golden Plains and Queenscliffe) and more than 150 participating local organisations working together towards a common vision.
The G21 Skills Taskforce has identified the development of a 'first-stop-shop' Career Development and Skills Service as a priority project to support the workforce needs of the G21 community. This service represents a collaborative effort by government at all levels, industry representation, employers, community agencies, education/training providers and employment agencies.
This Business Plan presents the detailed business concept, legal structure and location requirements. The marketing plan and operational plan are developed within this report, including a 5 year financial budget and action plan for short term and long term planning requirements.
